Maj. Gen. William N. Reddel III assumed duties as the Adjutant General, New Hampshire National Guard, on May 20, 2009. General Reddel serves as Military Chief of Staff to the Governor and is the Executive Head of the Adjutant General’s Department. As Adjutant General, he oversees all aspects of the Adjutant General’s Department, which includes Army and Air National Guard and the New Hampshire Veteran’s Cemetery. General Reddel received a commission through the Academy of Military Science in June 1980. In 1981, he graduated from undergraduate pilot training at Reese Air Force Base, Texas, and Combat Crew Training School at Castle AFB, California.
